Project Showcase: Le Mount Stephen

We were thrilled to design custom rugs for the stunning Le Mount Stephen, a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Montreal’s Golden Square Mile. Known for its seamless blend of historic architecture and modern refinement, the hotel provided an inspiring backdrop for our work.

Our studio created a dramatic, oversized rug for the hotel’s main lobby, a space where historic grandeur meets contemporary design. Framed by intricate architectural details from the original 1880s mansion and grounded by sleek marble surfaces, the lobby feels both timeless and modern. The custom rug was thoughtfully designed to complement this balance, adding softness, scale, and a sense of quiet luxury to one of the hotel’s most iconic gathering spaces.

We also had the opportunity to design custom pieces for the hotel’s exclusive three-bedroom Penthouse Suite. With over 5,000 square feet of private space, the penthouse is the epitome of luxury. Our rugs were tailored to elevate the suite’s bespoke furnishings and curated art collection, adding softness underfoot and a touch of cohesion to the expansive interior.
