Gandia Blasco Brown Kilim Rodas
This is the blue Rodas rug, an innovative design from GAN kilim collection that combines two very contrasting materials. The base is jute, in a rough and matte finish, while the pattern, which resembles a wrought iron grid, is made using soft and shining viscose. It is made with the same artisanal technique employed to make our other kilims, but instead of wool, it alternates contrasting materials.
Created by the internal GAN design team, this rug belongs to a series integrated by three other color options: white, black or green. It is a very light and reversible piece, available in three sizes.
RODAS, A RUG FROM GAN'S KILIM COLLECTION
The kilim is an artisan method of rug making in which the weft is tightly woven on a manual loom, using only threads and no knotting. The result is a light fabric with no pile, similar to that of upholstery. It is a technique that offers great flexibility, a feature that GAN explores thoroughly to create high-impact details.
